The Tanach, with the evidence built in
This is the complete Hebrew Bible in the Jewish Publication Society translation. Wherever a real archaeological find bears on the text, those words are underlined in gold✦. Hover over them or tap them to see the artifact and what it confirms. From there, Next find takes you to the next underline, so you can tour a whole book’s evidence, and the share button turns the verse into an image.
Each chapter lists its finds under its title, and the chapter picker shows how many finds every book and chapter has. The AA button sets the text size, light or dark, and English, Hebrew, or the two together.
Psalm 13
1For the leader. A psalm of David.
2How long, O LORD; will You ignore me forever?How long will You hide Your face from me?
3How long will I have cares on my mind,grief in my heart all day?How long will my enemy have the upper hand?
4Look at me, answer me, O LORD, my God!Restore the luster to my eyes,lest I sleep the sleep of death;
5lest my enemy say, “I have overcome him,”my foes exult when I totter.
6But I trust in Your faithfulness,my heart will exult in Your deliverance.I will sing to the LORD,for He has been good to me.
