The Tanach, with the evidence built in
This is the complete Hebrew Bible in the Jewish Publication Society translation. Wherever a real archaeological find bears on the text, those words are underlined in gold✦. Hover over them or tap them to see the artifact and what it confirms. From there, Next find takes you to the next underline, so you can tour a whole book’s evidence, and the share button turns the verse into an image.
Each chapter lists its finds under its title, and the chapter picker shows how many finds every book and chapter has. The AA button sets the text size, light or dark, and English, Hebrew, or the two together.
Psalm 3
1A psalm of David when he fled from his son Absalom.
2O LORD, my foes are so many!Many are those who attack me;
3many say of me,“There is no deliverance for him through God.” Selah.
4But You, O LORD, are a shield about me,my glory, He who holds my head high.
5I cry aloud to the LORD,and He answers me from His holy mountain. Selah.
6I lie down and sleep and wake again,for the LORD sustains me.
7I have no fear of the myriad forcesarrayed against me on every side.
8Rise, O LORD!Deliver me, O my God!For You slap all my enemies in the face;You break the teeth of the wicked.
9Deliverance is the LORD’s;Your blessing be upon Your people! Selah.
